Skywall
Zephras Isle partial leveling notes (1–12)
The Skyborne starting island, levels 1 through 12. Blizzard has published the setting, the crisis, and the faction split. A partial quest-name list exists for one village. A full hand-in route does not.
Questions these notes answer
What level is Zephras Isle in WoW Forever?
Blizzard calls it a level 1–12 starting experience for the Skyborne.
Is the Zephras Isle quest route complete here?
No. The wiki page used here was last edited on 26 September 2026 and names Thendal Village only. Later hubs are not filled in from another guide.
How do you leave Zephras Isle?
A Wowhead guide updated 22 October 2026, before launch, describes skyboats from Valanaar to Dalaran and toward Thunder Bluff. Those docks are provisional. Blizzard’s articles used here do not publish them.
What Blizzard has published
Blizzard text Zephras Isle is the level 1–12 starting experience for the Skyborne. It sits in Skywall, on the elemental plane of air. Blizzard's story is that Highborne exiles made a pact with wind spirits and built a home there. When players arrive, the air spirits are gone, the pylons that hold the island together are failing, and parts of the island are falling into ruin.
Blizzard text Three groups are named in that crisis: the Windshapers, the High Order, and the Al'Aketh. Horde characters are Windshapers and can be shamans. Alliance characters are High Order and can be mages. Both can be warriors, hunters, rogues, and druids. The race and this starting experience are included with the Skyborne Heroic Pack or a higher digital upgrade.
What this page refuses to invent
Not sourced A complete hub order, hand-in order, and quest-by-quest objective list is not published here. The wiki page retrieved on 6 November 2026 was last edited on 26 September 2026 and only covers Thendal Village. Later villages are not on that page. A pre-launch third-party route was not copied in to fill the gap. If the live island differs from the names below, the names are the thing to discard.
Thendal Village names, wiki order
Wiki list Warcraft Wiki spells the village Thendal. Wowhead's trainer table spells a similar place Thendall. This section uses the wiki spelling. The list follows the wiki's order. An arrow on the wiki is kept as an arrow. Side-by-side items were indented together on the page. The page does not write prerequisite sentences, so an indent is not upgraded into a rule.
- Coming of Age, listed at level 1, then Harmony in Balance at level 1, with an arrow toward class quests.
- Grouped with that stretch: Infestation Investigation (2) arrow to The Cirrusfly Queen (3), Falling With Style (2), The Anchors of Zephras (2), Harvesting Windstones (4), and Reading the Leylines or The Gift of Skysight, both listed at 4.
- Then Elemental Unrest (3), Agitators (3), Return to Rorian (4), Aetheen of the Gales (4), Foul Matriarch (5), with Aggressive Encroachment (4) grouped there.
- The Next Step (5), with Al'Aketh Thugs (5) and The Adventurer (6). The Adventurer has an arrow, and the page does not name the quest that follows.
Wiki list Class quest names on the same page, all listed at level 2: A Student of Nature, The Way of the Hunter, A Student of the Arcane, At Home in the Shadows, Embracing the Elements, and The Warrior's Path. Embracing the Elements is drawn onward to Call of Earth (Zephras Isle) and then Call of Earth (Zephras Isle 2). The wiki does not label those six names with classes. Call of Fire, which a Wowhead sentence mentions for shaman totems, is not on this wiki page.
Leaving and arriving
Database report Wowhead's pre-launch guide says two skyboats call at Valanaar about every five minutes. One goes to Dalaran. One goes to a cliff just south of Skywatcher Plateau, which that guide describes as the Thunder Bluff boat. It says both factions can ride either boat, and that Dalaran is generally meant for Alliance players and the Thunder Bluff boat for Horde players. Blizzard's own pages used here do not publish these docks.
| Hop | Where the guide places it | Waypoint |
|---|---|---|
| Zephras to Dalaran | Easternmost dock in Valanaar | 65.9, 83.5 |
| Dalaran to Zephras | Northern side of Dalaran | 12.5, 51.8 |
| Zephras toward Thunder Bluff | Westernmost dock in Valanaar | 57.9, 80.9 |
| Thunder Bluff side to Zephras | Cliffs just south of Skywatcher Plateau | 34.3, 25.8 |

Rewards the October guide singles out
Database report These three are the quests that guide calls out as useful early rewards. They are not a loot table, and they predate launch.
| Quest | Reward named there | Who that guide limits it to |
|---|---|---|
| The Problem With Prideclaws | Simple Leather Satchel | Level 4 and up |
| Meddlesome Mages | Idol of Shifting Tides or Totem of Charged Flames | Level 4 and up, Horde druid or shaman, as that table pairs them |
| Boughs in the Wind | Windbough Wand | Level 10 and up, mage |
Database report The same guide says Skyborne shamans should complete Call of Earth and Call of Fire to receive an Earth Totem and a Fire Totem, because some totem abilities require them. Call of Fire does not appear on the wiki storyline page. Reputation on that Wowhead page is described only in outline: High Order is the Alliance-sided faction, Windshapers are the Horde-sided faction, and most isle quests reward the faction tied to your character. Point values are not taken from a second site.
