A post-launch article uses hunters as the example of a changed toolkit: traps can be used in combat, and pets are defined through gear scaling and family abilities. It also says a modern rotation should not be assumed to fit.

Blizzard's list of newly opened combinations does not add a rogue pairing for the original races. Skyborne of both factions can be rogues because the race is new.

Dwarf shaman is the new Alliance pairing Blizzard names. Windshaper Skyborne can be shamans. High Order Skyborne cannot, in the published Alliance table. A Wowhead zone guide says Skyborne shamans should finish Call of Earth and Call of Fire for their totems. That line is a database report from 22 October 2026, and Call of Fire is not on the wiki storyline page retrieved for this atlas.
